I have more to post, once said boys are out of town at their Grandma’s and I have a few quiet moments. But for right now I’ll share some of the brilliancy that flows from my brain.
We had plans, originally, to put a picture rail up where the two wall colors meet. But we never got around to it, And when it came down to it, I wasn’t sure I really wanted something that permanent. But we needed to do something: either repaint, or… what? Enter brilliant idea. Pinstriping.
$3.99 for a 40 foot roll at AutoZone. There is nicer, more expensive stuff, but I didn’t need it to be really hardcore, stand up to 100 miles an hour stuff. $3.99 works for me. Totally easy to apply. I just followed the lines of the paint, covering up all the places where blue had bled onto green.
It’s hard to tell in these pictures, but it really did make a difference. Subtle, but effective. I’m totally happy with it.
