Still in need of a project to practice my curved seams, I found these last night on one of my favorite blogs
I don’t really need pillows, but looking at them got the creativity going for me. I’m going to make a table runner using the curved seam/circle/patchwork idea. Making a whole runner of circles should give me ample practice. Plus, I need a runner to cover up the disgusting seam in my kitchen table that is filled with what we affectionately refer to around here as “sludge cement”. I have three little boys. They eat a lot of sticky things. It happens. Anyway, I need something to hide that dirty little secret in between scrapings. A circle-filled table runner it is!
Thought I’d post it here and now in case anyone else is in need of curved seam practice. Or perhaps in need of an idea to cover up something embarrassing in your kitchen. Two birds+one stone=perfect project.
Off to start cutting approximately 1.734 million curves and circles. Weeeeeeeeee!
