I’ve recieved a couple of emails and talked to a few of you who say you’re playing along. I don’t know if that means just practicing the seams right now, or actually making something with them. Either way, if you would like to show off that hard work, let me know. I figure if even one person other than me is doing it, I’ll do a McLinky thing so that we can all see what we’re creating. I would love to see what others are doing with the “lessons”.
This week’s chapter goes over darts and tucks. Yay for me, I can finish that skirt/pillowcase. Along with that, I’m planning on making a tailor’s ham. I have access to infinite supplies of sawdust, and it seams a pity to waste. Maybe, if anyone in the greater SLC, UT area is interested, we can do a Ham Party. Think of how professional we’d feel then, with our own tailor’s hams! Or something.
In conclusion, if you made something, let me know so we can link it and admire it. If you want to make a ham with me, also let me know and we’ll fry up some bacon and stuff sawdust ’till our eyes water. Good times.
