It was recently brought to my attention that I was featured in the most recent issue of Quilter’s Home as one of 55 Rad Blogs, along with my friends Char and Lei. It was my dinky little family blog that was highlighted, and this blog mentioned in the text. Though I’m still in complete confusion how a) they heard about me, and more confusing, b) why in the world they chose me out of all the amazing blogs out there, I’m incredibly flattered. So thank you Quilter’s Home for validating me, my insanely adorable children, and my blog[s].
In other news, those insanely adorable children and I are going on a family fieldtrip today to some caves about two hours from our house. If I was a prepared little soul I’d have the last of the pocket lessons completed and ready to go. But I am most definitely not, and I most definitely do not. So I’ll have them up tomorrow for you all…probably.
I’ve also been working on fine tuning (ha! read: making almost intelligible) the Adventure Pants pattern. I finished the pair for my second son and they are pretty much awesome. No, really, MUCH better than that first pair. So that’s coming. And I started on my tops for Made By Rae’s Spring Top Week. And guess what?! So far things are going completely craptacular. So much for my being ready to make a top from design to construction with no pattern. I’m not proud, but there have been some swears involved. My radness is waning. Don’t tell Quilter’s Home.
