Another two Domesticated Skirts today.
The first is a long time coming. Susan commented that she made the skirt a couple of weeks ago. But I couldn’t find the comment with the link when I went to post it. I finally found it again and here it is. One of the things I enjoy the most about this whole sharing of ideas is seeing what other people do to change them up.
Susan made her skirt full length and it looks beautiful. I have her version on my to-do list now, as I would love one for next fall. Check it out at Joyful Mom of Many. And then go check out the posts and pictures of her craft/homeschool/office. It’s absolutely beautiful. I just want to walk around and touch everything-the floors, the stacks of fabric, all of it.
And next is Kaysi of Keeping it Simple. Kaysi chose some of my favorite fabric for her skirts. She also chose to do her skirt as some others have, with ribbon and hemming.
She even made some tiny baby versions which she is selling in her Etsy shop. Seriously, cute.
I would love to see your takes on ideas shared at Sew a Straight Line. Send me an email, post to the Flickr Group, or comment and I’ll get you up here.
