Okay, here’s the deal: Today is scheduled to go over sleeves in The Book. Great, fine, looking forward to it. I ran quickly through two of the four types I plan on doing. A little too quickly. So, I’ve posted what I have, but please be aware that this is definitely one of those “do as I say, not as I do” things. Agreed?
Set-In and Shirt Sleeves are up. Raglan and Dolman sleeves are coming…one day. Next week will be no lessons. I have some other excitement planned, but more on that in a couple of days.
Sorry I’m so flakey. It’s really hard to focus on assigned work, even when it’s self-inflicted, rather than playing around with other projects I want to get to. I need to follow my advice to my son regarding his homework: get it done and then you can play. Again, do as I say, not as I do.
As for assignments, first off is to finish the other two types of sleeves, I guess. But I’m working on another Spring Top for Made By Rae. Shirt=sleeves, so that will be my practice and my assignment.
Oh, and check this out!
This is what happens when you decide to just hurry and prewash a whole slew of cut fabric all at once.
You don’t even want to know how long it took to untangle, cut apart, unwind, and figure out that insanity
But it’s all nice, neat and put away now.
And that is why I didn’t have time to do nice sleeves. That and I just kinda stink at them.
