I have a little somthin-somthin for you today.
I finished the rocket and flower blanket patterns and have uploaded them for your PDF downloading enjoyment.
The flower is a bit odd. But it turns out me trying to come up with a symmetrical five-petal pattern is about as easy as…something that isn’t easy at all. I’ve had a long morning of dealing with the stinkin’ thing and I have no clever analogies. But I’m sharing what I came up with, if you want to try to make it work.
There are nine pattern pieces to cut out and tape together like so:
I modified the rocket pattern from what I originally made (as seen above) but it’s still my favorite, so I’m super happy to be able to finally share that.
It also has nine pieces
And of course the seven-pieced teddy bear pattern is still available.
And hopefully this little offering of funky shaped blanket goodness will work as my Jedi mind trick of making all you all forget that I was supposed to go over sleeve placket lessons today. I started on them, but it turns out I’d rather work on my projects for Kids Clothes Week. We’ll try to hit the amazing fun excitement of sleeve plackets next week. While you wait, perhaps you’d like to make a blanket? I hear there’s a rockin’ tutorial for them here.
