I ordered a new battery charger for my camera and it’s in transit now. It’s funny how much on hold so much of my sewing has been this past week waiting for a way to document it. Since when does sewing require a camera as a necessary accessory? It’s like my whole life is on hold, actually. Yesterday my boys were being all cute and silly with each other and I told them to stop it until I could properly photograph it for the grandparents. I felt like a total jerk of a mom at my oldest’s award assembly today, not snapping pictures of him and his certificates of smartness.
I have a really fun tutorial and pattern I’m excited to share with you. So just as soon as that charger lands in my mailbox, I’ll get it up and going. I just needed to drop by and let you know I haven’t abandoned things entirely. While we wait for life to go on, please enjoy the following series of pictures documenting my youngest attempting to eat a donut hole whole earlier this month:
child prodigy, that one, but at least his hands stayed mostly clean. And no Heimliching was required.
And now I bet you’re praying as hard as I am for a timely delivery of that charger before I dig even deeper and uglier into my family picture archives and forget entirely what this blog is supposed to be about.
