or actually usually just a white tee and jeans. But anyway, I have a camera charger. I have three charged batteries. Tomorrow things are going to be back in full swing. I have plans to more than make up for the slowness you’ve all had to endure around here for the last two weeks. I’ve been sewing and taking pictures all weekend. And just in time to leave again on my cruise in four days. So I’ll try to make those four days good.
And while I’m here, I just wanted to direct your attention to some fun sewing challenges and contests going on right now out in Blogdom. You can also find links to all of this funness over on my left margin.
A Lemon Squeezy Home started the Sew Through The Decades Challenge this week. Each week a different decade, 1900 through 2010. I will be participating in at least a couple of the weeks/decades. Seriously fun stuff.
Crafter Hours is hosting Skirt Week, complete with tutorials and prizes. This challenge is almost enough to make me wish I wasn’t going on my cruise and had time to participate. Okay, not really, but I do wish the challenge was just one week later to give me some time!
And finally, over at Lilac Lane you can join in with Trimmed With Love. Sew something, anything, with trim and enter yourself to win some awesome prizes. Melissa needs some diversion from the horrible burden of having to chose which company to allow to mass produce her fabric designs, the poor girl ;). So go on over and help a girl out.
All right, be back tomorrow with the first of my camera-charger-rebound tutorials. It’s going to be epic. Yeah, probably not quite, but at least I hope mildy entertaining and helpful. I know I’m excited.
