Today was scheduled to go over attaching collars in The Book. It’s a pretty intensive section to go over, as I basically have to make a pseudo-garment for each collar attachment, of which there are three. And so far I’m 0 for 4 on actually correctly attaching anything.
AND I’VE DONE COLLARS BEFORE!
Sorry to yell, but really, I’m at my edge here. Four little shirts, all for naught! Never mind the hours I’ve spent. Today is definitely a day where I wish I had a real teacher to ask questions of rather than just an old textbook to consult. But I think I’m starting to see my mistake. I hope. Tonight I’ll make up another three little shirts and matching collars and, hopefully, tomorrow we’ll proceed with Collars with Facings, Collars with Partial Facings, and Collars without Facings. Until then, here is a picture of my oldest at three months.
We call it the Kramer. No, he’s not laying down. His hair just did that for the first year of his life.
It has nothing to do with anything. But posts without pictures are lame and this makes me laugh. And at this point, I’m needing some comic relief.
