This isn’t really a holiday we do much with around here. In fact this year, we didn’t even put up any of the [very few] decorations we have commemorating the day. But I had planned on having a fun little V-day themed tutorial up for you all earlier this month.
And it started out okay…
Until bad things started happening. Really.bad.things. So maybe next year. Or never. In better V-day Project News, my son and I did get his Valentine’s box for school done. We used his Snap Circuits (best toys EVER!) to add lights and noise, stuffed that inside a box, taped that box to a larger box and wrapped the whole thing in an obscene amount of tinfoil before letting him go wild with markers and foam stickers.
And we made all the kids’ Valentines for classmates and friends this year, too. I got the idea for my two-year-old’s from this post from Cheri of I am Momma Hear Me Roar. But the other two, my sons and I came up with. Nothing too original, but it was was fun to plan and make them together.
Yeah, so, that pretty much wraps up the Valentine’s stuff, I guess. Moving on… The jacket formally known as the Notched Collar Assignment is started. If all goes well, I’ll have the Lined Tailored Jacket lesson up later this week, staring this thing as the completed assignment. Fingers crossed!
And that’s it, sweet readers. Thanks for being mine!
