Have you seen the Zig Zag Dress by See Kate Sew? It’s kind of adorable.
See Kate Sew has such a classic, beautiful style in her designs. I really love that about sewing patterns put out by independent artists: you get a much better and fun variety of aesthetics. The Zig Zag dress is a fairly simple sew with pretty details: faced button placket and neckline, pleats along the skirt, elastic sleeve cuffs, and optional piping.
I made Ivy’s Zig Zag Dress in white Swiss dot cotton, with big blue buttons to match the blue piping.
But it’s also great for play, with a wide bodice and a shorter hemline perfect for pairing with leggings. The dress is so comfortable, Ivy spent the morning dancing.
We just put on some music and let her do her thing, as she twirled and shimmied in her Zig Zag Dress. You can purchase the Zig Zag Dress pattern HERE. And be sure to check out all the other stops on the Zig Zag Dress pattern tour
And just because, dancing baby!
