Easter was last week? Well, perhaps I’m just early for next year.
A couple of days before Easter, I decided that it would be a good idea to drop every other obligation and priority in my life and whip up new outfits for all the kids. Because that is what I do. Wednesday, I cut out pants for Kael and shorts for Jonas from some bright green twill I had in my stash. Thursday, I ran to Jo-Ann and picked up all the rest of the fabric, washed it all, and cut out shirts for all three boys, pants for Seth, a dress and bloomers for Ivy. Friday, I felt a little “off”, but pushed through and got all but Seth’s pants finished. Saturday, I came down with the plague and spent the next four days, including Easter, in bed and/or cleaning up the sick from everyone else as it worked its vomitous way through all of us. Happy Easter to us!
Three separate photo shoots. The camera battery died on location at the first one.
The second was really just a Hurry-Run-in-Here-and-Stand-There-Before-We-Leave-for-Church-in-Case-Someone-Gives-You-Chocolate-Before-I-Get Real-Shots thing.
But the third? Nailed it.
