This is a back-dated post.
It’s currently January 2016. Like time travel. Cool, huh?! I never posted these after Christmas 2014 for a few reasons. One, most of them turned out really bad.
The lighting in the stairwell is poor, and the kids are never all still at the same time. But I can usually edit the pictures to be sort of okay. But for some reason, my editing program isn’t recognizing the vast majority of the pictures. Like, I can’t open them to edit at all. I could only access a few to fix, and none of those have all the kids in them, but they are still pretty entertaining.
We were also missing a kid. My youngest nephew decided to hold off on the whole birth thing until after Christmas, and I had plans of getting the kids all together again, after he made his appearance, to get a shot with all the grandkids. It never happened. Though, he did wear his long johns home from the hospital.
Also, the the oldest, 15 at the time, didn’t want his picture posted, so I just figured I’d skip the group post all together. I don’t know why he wouldn’t be excited about showing off bum-flap pajamas to the world? Teens are so weird.
But then this year, at Christmas 2015, he said he was okay with it after all. And I’ve decided I don’t care about perfection, I want a record of this tradition, even if it is a bit jaundiced. So, a year later, here they are!
