It only took me a year, but I finally blogged the the 2014 Cousin Christmas PJ stairwell pictures. I back-dated it, so as not to confuse posterity. So, I feel like it’s a bit of a win that it’s taken me less than a month to get around to the 2015 PJs.
Every year my mom and I get together to make all of her grandkids matching PJs for Christmas Eve. This was our sixth year making the PJs and it’s always fun to see how the kids have grown and changed (and multiplied!) over the years.
The fabric is flannel from Jo-Ann Stores. My mom always special orders in November. Did you know you can use your coupons on special orders? Well, you can. And if you go in the day after Thanksgiving, when flannel is marked down drastically, you can even special order with the marked-down prices. When you need dozens of yards of fabric, this is the best way to buy. We used Butterick B5433, a nightshirt pattern. We had to draft our own pattern for the baby, and increase the length for the 16 year old, but the rest all came straight from the pattern, which is always nice.
How could you not enjoy this tradition, though, right?!
You can catch up on the other years HERE.
