Yesterday , I posted about the project I’ve been a part of, the Näh Connection Shop, an effort headed by Annika Ferk of Näh Connection, to translate 17 fantastic German patterns into English. Today, I’m showing another pattern from the group, the Else by Monika of Schneidernmeistern
I actually purchased the Else myself about 1.5 years ago, after seeing it on quite a few German Instagram feeds. I fell in love with the huge variety of looks people were creating with the Else, and just loved everything about it. The pattern at the time was all in German, but I muddled through the language barrier and made one of my all-time favorite cold-weather wears.
Lucky for you, the Else is now available in English! Lucky for all of us, there are so very, very many options in this pattern: hoods, collars, sleeves, bodice, lengths. I mean really, you can get dozens of looks out of this one pattern. It’s fantastic.
My Else is a French Terry witha very subtle variegated rainbow weave in it. And it is ridiculously comfortable. Between the long cuffs with thumb holes and the cowl neck collar, my Else is one of the coziest items in my closet. I usually pair it with some fleece-lined leggings as the weather gets colder, though I also love it with my skinny jeans.
You can grab the Else, along with the other 16 newly-translated patterns in the Näh Connection Shop HERE.
