Now for my favorite full outfit out of Ivy’s new kindergarten wardrobe.
A 3/4 sleeve tee and some slouchy joggers, all in super soft organic cotton jersey
The pants are Ottobre Design 7/2017, pattern #17. The fabric is just basic organic cotton, and so so soft. It’s hard to get the details of the pants to show up, being black on black.
But they have some fun coverstitching going on at the front pockets
A really great fold-up cuff, that will hopefully allow Ivy to wear these things as she grows
And my Dutch Label Shop tag showing off at the center back. These things sew up so fast and easy, and are so comfortable, I wouldn’t mind Ivy having another pair or two in her closet. I figure once school starts next week, and she is really wearing these clothes, I will see how things hold up and what she is liking to wear the most, then fill in the gaps before fall hits.
The top is another Ottobre, from issue 1/2016, pattern #21. It’s a 3/4 length tee
With a high-low hem and bound waist and sleeve hems
I grabbed the fabric at a clearance event. I think it’s by JNY, an European fabric company, but I couldn’t find it online, being out of print for a while now. But I absolutely love it. It’s a bit thicker than other knits I have, and the print is so fun. Ivy says they are cats, because she wants all the world to be cats, but I think they look like foxes. Whatever. Cute. And the whole outfit is just so comfy and cool.
Perfect for playground play and exploring, don’t you think?
