I originally started this blog as a personal challenge to improve my sewing, starting with the very basics and working my way through the chapters of Connie Amadan’s A Guide to Fashion Sewing (amazon affiliate link). I spent most of 2010 doing weekly “lessons”, and these are those I completed and documented as I went. If you’re looking through and thinking how poor a job I did on some of these, please know, I know. These were what I was learning as I was learning it, my practice I documented and decided to share. I highly encourage you to pick up a copy of Connie Amadan’s A Guide to Fashion Sewing (The Book). It’s helped me more than I can say in my little journey down the path of sewing enlightenment.
